NDSS Music

The NDSS Music program engages students in the arts of reading, composing, performing, and improvising music. Students who take Core Music in grades 6 through 12 will be introduced to written musical notation, and learn to perform music on either keyboard or guitar. Students will also be taught to analyze the structure of music from both the past and present, and use that knowledge to create their own unique compositions.

The Glee Club is our extracurricular group. It meets after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and gives students the opportunity to hone their singing skills in both solo and group form. Students sing a variety of music chosen by both club members and the teacher, and perform in and out of the school throughout the year.
